Standard Stamping Die Punching Method

The standard stamping die punch mainly includes five kinds of cutting edge cross-section shapes, wherein the circular cutting edge cross-sectional shape is relatively simple and has only one diameter parameter. The other types of cutting edge cross-sections involve multiple parameters such as length (P), width (W), and rounded corner (R). Each parameter has a certain range of choice, and it is also necessary to consider the blanking gap injection machine. Mold designers need to spend a lot of time to query the data when selecting the standard punch, and check the shape parameters of the cutting edge section.

The standard punching edge cross-section shape uses functions of logic, database, and has strong data filtering and calling functions. Making full use of these functions to create a component family table with judgment and lookup functions will make the selection of standard punches a very easy task.

Since the diameter of the punch is related to the thickness of the punched sheet, there is a gap between the punch and the die, and the gap value is usually 6% to 8% of the thickness of the material. The cross-sectional dimension of the punch edge is often accurate. Two digits after the decimal point, this caused the standard punch specification code to be very long, even reaching nearly a hundred characters. When the design is completed, the workload is huge when filling out the parts list, and the pattern conveyor belt is very error-prone.
