Method For Improving The Durability Of A Stamping Die
1. Improve the design of stamping dies
Whether the stamping die design is reasonable is the basis for improving the durability of the stamping die. For example, when quenching, if the production is overheated during heating, not only the workpiece is too brittle, but also causes deformation and cracking during cooling, resulting in reduced durability. 4. Reasonably arrange the stamping die manufacturing process and ensure the machining accuracy
The processing accuracy of the stamping die has a great influence on the durability of the stamping die. For example, in the blanking die, due to the uneven assembly gap, the shearing force often causes the die to be damaged and affects the life of the stamping die. At the same time, the surface finish of the stamping die is too low, which will also reduce the durability of the stamping die. Therefore, it is necessary to pay sufficient attention to the hole distance, the perpendicularity of the punch to the support surface of the fixed plate during assembly, the uniformity of the distance between the stamping die, and the guide level of the guide bush and the guide post. 5. Choose the right machine
In order to improve the durability of the stamping die, a press with higher precision and higher rigidity should be selected, and the punching tonnage should be greater than 30% of the punching pressure.
6. Reasonable use and maintenance of stamping dies
In order to improve the durability of the stamping die, the operator must use and maintain the stamping die reasonably, and the stamping die should be frequently repaired to prevent the stamping die from being damaged.
