WACKER Launches New Silicone For Electronics

WACKER recently launched a series of newly developed electronic application room temperature curing one-component silicone rubber. ELASTOSIL® N2140 CN is a one-component, room temperature curable translucent silicone rubber that is easy to flow, has excellent mechanical strength and has an elongation at break of up to 350%.

The product has excellent primer-free bonding properties for a variety of substrates such as glass, aluminum, stainless steel, polyamide (PA) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). ELASTOSIL® N2140 CN has good thermal stability and flexibility in the temperature range of -50 ̊C to 200 ̊C. The proper viscosity range of the product makes it suitable for potting, coating and sealing of electrical and electronic components. Kind of use.

ELASTOSIL® TC9801 is a one component, room temperature cured white silica gel that is an alkoxy neutral cure system. The product has good thermal stability and thermal conductivity, and the thermal conductivity is 0.8W/mK. ELASTOSIL® TC9801 has excellent primer-free adhesion to a wide range of substrates for thermal bonding in the electrical, automotive and electronics industries. It is particularly worth mentioning that this product has a SGS V0 flame retardant rating, which is especially suitable for the bonding of battery packages and motor components.
