Application Of Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene Materials In Automotive

Long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene materials can be applied to instrument panels, door modules, front end modules, tailgates, and other internal and semi-structural applications that require balanced dimensional stability, heat resistance, and weight optimization. For example, ENLITETM LGF 1851, which was launched in October 2016 by Tridonic, is the world’s first long glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene with a long glass content of 85%, compared to traditional PP-LGF containing 20% or 30%. This product can reduce the cost by about 10%.
